Hey Mike,

I was hoping you would have Heritage (Leesburg) (5-1 record) @ Woodgrove (6-0 record) on the list this week?
I'm sorry I don't know how I missed that one Tom. Although, I really expect Woodgrove to win that by 2-3 TD's. I don't think many people would have picked Heritage Leesburg anyway. Bottom line though, I apologize for missing that one. Record wise it looks like a good matchup. Do me a favor in the coming weeks and post West suggestions, especially from your area so I don't miss an obvious one like that again. Message me the suggestions or start a post on here like early Saturday for the upcoming week's games. Thanks

I added it to the bottom for a bonus West pick this week. I need to remember to have 9 East games next week to balance it back out for East/West. Thanks

I know it's unlikely but do not count JF out this friday. Like opponents are not necessarily the best indicator but if you look at Brookville/Rustburg Brookville/Amherst JF/Rustburg... it is interesting. Also, Amherst has struggled stopping the wishbone more than anybody else the past two years (JF scoring 71 in 2015 and 45 in 2014). I know that Jones and Miller are gone - but the same schemes with still talented backs. O-line is coming along. The offense is really starting to execute well and with Amherst's QB out, could be an interesting night.

Always trust the Coach and the program. That's everything. No matter who is playing. Christmas is good.

JF will compete but it's hard to see a scenario where the Lancers don't win here, even with the starting QB out. JF has no D. Amherst rolls but Cavs will put up a good fight.

Yeah I will agree it isn't probable - but should be a great game regardless. JF has had two very different defensive identities this season - very inconsistent due to inexperience. If the defense that showed up against Salem, Heritage, or first 3 quarters vs Rustburg shows up, I think they win. If the other defense shows up, I would expect a 14 point loss or so.

I picked JF....has to be an upset somewhere. JF has to win one of these close ones sometime.

Do you figure Jamestown will win their second game?
Bruton right now is about as bad as a team gets. Terrible defense and struggling offense. Absolutly great kids and coach but only a few good players. I would put Janestown as a big favorite, especially with their big win last week over New Kent. The steady improvement is there, though still far from a playoff team right now.

I feel for the poor kids at Bruton, but I'm glad to see Jamestown finally have just a tiny bit of success. I met their AD when we played them, and I guess he is still there? He was a really friendly and accomadating guy.
