Think I'm going to do my free trial of the WWE Network and watch everything I can from the 80s.

Planning to play basketball against my daughters - have them play me 2 on 1.

Hoping it teaches them how to become better passers.

No rec league this spring, so I plan to use the next few months to play more with them and gradually crank up the pressure.

Do some work. Read my Bible. Pray.

I am really glad this is happening at this point in my life and not 20 years ago.

I think back to being single, living in Dallas in a 450 SF apartment and realizing how absolutely bored and lonely I would be.

Now, I have too much going on to be bored, which I am thankful for.

Praying for an end to this.

Today - hiking with girlfriend, cleanup and partial water change on my aquarium with girlfriend, watch a rugby match from my DVR while girlfriend putts around in her flower beds, dinner and a bottle of wine with girlfriend, watch a movie with girlfriend, bed with girlfriend.

Tomorrow - same, except for aquarium.

Luckily for us we're both ISTJs, and we're perfectly happy just with each other.

Going to my wife's office to get some stuff for her to work at home with. Passed Walmart and the parking lot is 90%+ full. Looks like the weekend before Christmas. Otherwise, it's so strange to see the roads and other businesses so empty. After this, Netflix, again.

Spent the morning doing some spring cleaning with my wife. Watching classic college hoops on CBS now, while the wife is laying out in the South Georgia sun. Tonight the plan is to crank up the fire pit, listen to music, and knock off a bottle of Morgan. Pretty normal times for us, so far.

So much for watching hoops. Interrupted by the orange idiot. I wish he’d just let Spence do all the adult speaking.

I giggle at half the country that thinks a POTUS is a good one because he's a slick speaker. Half the country got DUPED into voting for one not once but TWICE.........while he bashed billionaires yet only hangs out with billionaires now. He's still laughing at the Sheep that elected him. LOL!

Oh, you know exactly who I'm talking about. Obama is sipping wine at his massive Martha's Vineyard spread while laughing at people like you.
I’m a longtime Republican. Congrats on your obsession with Obama. Have you told us yet which previous names you were banned with before becoming yet another dumbass with the new one?

Never posted here before, but that's just what I'd expect from a guy like you. Pulling out the "you were banned, I just know it!" schtick is weak sauce. You should bash Trump some more since it's doing so much for you post to like count. Looks like once in a blue moon, someone agrees with you. [roll] See ya bud, not worth my time.

I had to break quarantine because of some new visitors last night (ants). Headed to Lowes just down the road to get the Terro ant hotels... and was really surprised how many people were out. Restaurant parking lots are pretty empty but Lowe's was hoppin and it took me 30-40 seconds to get on the main road because of traffic. I don't want to say Tennessee isn't taking this seriously because there is definitely a difference during the week (rush hour) but still lots and lots of people out.

I stopped posting here when my little brother died unexpectedly in 2016 — before the “likes” thing was a thing. Just started posting again a few months ago. If that stuff is important to you, you need to grow the F up.

I don't get into very many political discussions as I am neither Republican or Democrat but I sincerely believe that the United States was not mentally ready for what SHOULD have been done. Nationwide shutdown in early to mid-Feb. That's the only way this would have been slowed down here. Bad news is, it would still have eventually crossed our borders but if we could have taken drastic measures earlier and stalled the virus, we would have had more time to get test kits ready. I really don't think any President would have pulled that trigger as it would have been unprecedented.

We all would have questioned a nationwide shutdown that early. If/When the next Pandemic shows up, we will have a better understanding of what to do and what's going to happen. Hopefully we can add more manufacturing capability here to improve our supply chains and improve our healthcare system's resiliency.

If there's any good news to this, we are lucky that this is not a mass extinction type of virus. We will be better prepared in the future because of this. <- this by no means makes me feel good about all of this. I feel terrible for everyone that is affected negatively whether's its physical, emotional, or financial.

It's looking more and more like people in the U.S. had coronavirus as far back as December, thought it was the flu or something else and were spreading it around. Had China been forthright from the start, this could have been prevented. Anybody blaming anyone but China, IMO, is seriously e-ffed up in the head.

yikes, December.

Damn.

Summer can't come fast enough. Hopefully the heat and humidity will help slow it down so we can be more prepared for a likely rebound in the fall.

Watching **** on streaming. Got one episode left of Atypical of Netflix then I’ll pick back up on the Handmaid’s Tale. I never got around to watching any of it after the first season.

Where are you seeing that people had it in December?

Four people I know traveled oversees for Christmas, got sick as dogs and said the symptoms were similar. Four different people that traveled to China and Australia.
I see.

So did those four people tell you that everyone they came in contact with also got sick; with some of those, especially the older ones, ending up in the hospital?

Because that would've been the probable sequela.

They were traveling, not to see family, so anyone they were around were strangers that they never saw again. So they wouldn’t have any data on those strangers. I’m not saying they had it but I’m seeing similar stories from others who also recovered.
