1) Friday night was as painful as a loss can get. Beat them in every aspect of the game except errors (biggest one thanks to Frost)
2) Some of you are not giving E. Mitchell enough credit. He gave up ONE hit in the 6+ (I don't remember exact inning count) innings. Sure he walked a few, but he is potentially the most dominant pitcher that we have. Not time to give up on him yet, because if he can get into a groove he is top 2 or 3 in the SEC.
3) Yesterday was awesome. I don't thing Graveman was trying to hit Katz, because if he was it was the worst attempt in history. LSU fans would have you believe that a guy can pound the strike zone all day but miss someone's head by 4 feet when trying to "end his career."
4) I have never really liked Maineiri but this weekend put it over the top. He was out whining about something every other inning. The most annoying thing was that he usually didn't even argue at the time, he would walk out mid inning to talk to the umps and cry like a ***** about everything. If we are going to throw at someone next time, I vote for a errant throw in warmups that happens to hit Maineiri where his balls should be.
5) Maybe I am calming down in my old age, but I am actually happy for Ole Miss winning the SEC tournament. Doesn't really impact us one way or another and they have struggled for a looong time in basketball.

The Friday night 6th inning was indeed painful to give away the run to tie a close game in the manner we did by virtue of a walk, a throwing error and then 2 consecutive wild pitches. You can't gift wrap the tying run up for a team much better than that.

And lately it seems everytime we walk someone we follow that up with an error. That's what happened Friday night to allow the tying run in the 6th and then Saturday when Mitchell started the 5th he walked a guy and then Detz errored the **** sacrifice to put 1st and 2nd with nobody out and then Mitchell started the next batter with a 2-0 count which ended his night. Ross Mitchell then came in and gave up a 2 run double.
