Your New Goth Goddess Is... Paris Hilton?

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve sung the sartorial praises of Paris Hilton. Style-wise, the hotel heiress (and former employer of Kim Kardashian) seems to be almost permanently stuck in 2002. From passé boho getups to low slung skinny jeans, Juicy Couture sweatsuits and all pink everything, she’s not exactly the style icon 2015 has been thirsting after. Or… is she? Thursday night—i.e. two days before Halloween—the elder Hilton sib and her younger sister Nicky were hanging out around Los Angeles, just the usual… and Paris looked different. Great different! Wearing a black, cut-out bodycon dress, leather fingerless gloves, nude fishnets, and black heeled booties, the 34-year-old looked put-together and age appropriate. But it was her beauty look that really made us take a second glance: an exaggerated (yet somehow subtle) cat eye, dark talon fingernails, slicked back hair, and a shiny black lip—gothic princess at its finest.
