If his team's motor runs half as hard as his does, we're gonna be ok.

I'm sure Venables gets the job and now I'm looking to see who will join his staff.

You know that Riley loved the USC loss. Snake that he is.

I watched part of game. Riley was in NC (allegedly) USC looks pretty barren. One WR who looks good. Rest of the now 4-8 Blowjans look in disarray. Oh and Taco Tech “great” Graham Harrel is their OC at present. Cal pretty much controlled the whole game. Way to step into a flaming pile of dog crap Riley...

I'm Okay with BV as Head Coach. I think I like in fact.

Offense is catching up, but I still believe that defense wins championships, and he's going to bring that "defense first" mentality to OU (similar to what Bob Stoops did back in 1998). LIke aranda did at Baylor.

BV has gotten it done at the highest level, and I don't think he'll be intimidated by the move to the SEC. Instead, I think he'll prosper there. Revel in the challenge. He'll fit in. I can't say the same about LR or Mike Leech for example.

The only thing I hope for is that he hires a creative mind for his OC. Someone with a system and scheme that will attract the top offensive talent in the nation. Because, as I mentioned, a "game management" type offense isn't good enough anymore. Just ask the Bulldogs. You've got to have the fire power to win the occasional shoot out.

Lebby will be the OC, but who will be the DC is the question. Lanning or Schumann who are co DC at UGA could work. Schumann has quite the resume working with UGA and Bama. His inside linebackers are always good.

We need to find a solid secondary coach. I just looked and Roy Manning is no longer listed as a coach. Ou does not have a coach for the secondary. With Venables, Odoms and Cain there are 3 linebacker coaches.

Wasn't Manning the guy who was recruiting for USC while he was on the OU staff?

Call it 'official' speculation and well leaked rumors... it's happening everyone.
