That might depend on what the NCAA does to Louisville, I couldn’t see a probable one and done play for a team who might be ineligible for the tournament or maybe missing it,
I don’t see a harsh punishment coming from the NCAA since UofL has cleaned house for the second time, but after they stole UofLs back2back final4s, and our NC nothing would shock me!

Of course he wanted it!
He’s a grown a$$ man who makes his own decisions.
It’s not like he was desperate for a job.
I agree that he wanted it but he wanted our fans to beg him to be our coach. Instead we were looking at coaches with more experience. He knew he would take the job if he was offered. That’s what scared me.

Why would any grown man in their right mind risk all of that from peer pressure?
It makes no sense!
The first thing that comes to mind is he would be making several million dollars. The other thing is it wasn't just peer pressure it was peer pressure from the black community (Bridgeman,Houston) who are willing to throw huge amounts of money (allegedly) at the program if KP is the coach. Not to mention a lot of ex players, Eaves, Beard, Griff amongst others.. Look, I'm all in on KP I hope he surpasses Denny and Rick but call me just a little bit skeptical..

He‘s already a millionaire, and if he turned down UofL he would still have a great job with Knicks! Regardless if it’s Black/white/tan/albino community it’s still just peer pressure and any reasonable adult doesn’t cave in to peer pressure let alone one with a family that he has to account for.

I'm OK with you thinking that. Carry on..!

Yep we’re just going to have to agree to disagree, but we both want UofL to thrive with the Payne Train!

PAYNE TRAYNE
I'm on board the trayne! Reminds me of the old Vance Bedford saying (I'll paraphrase here)... "There's a train coming. You better get on board or get out of the way, because it's coming through." I've been a season-ticket holder since the mid-80's, and with everything that has happened the past 7 years plus the very bad basketball product this year, I was seriously thinking about stopping. But Payne got me fired-up again yesterday, and I'm on board. Go Cards!

I am so excited right now for us as a fan base and for us as an university.I couldn’t dunk like Griff or play down low like Pervis so KP was one of the guys I tried to play like growing up.I think the best thing about the hire is that it will bring some of the legends back into the fold.Let’s get it, Go Cards!
