First the facts:

  1. No lights so game will be 1 or 1:30
  2. No parking so try to take UP West line
  3. A good parking option is the train parking lot on Park St at the tracks
  4. Northside is the best pre/post game and is two blocks from field
  5. Visitor stands hold about 20 people but there will be end zone stands
  6. Butlers and Nanny holding area is at the club house on the lake, please no help near the field
Having been in IL only six seasons, I am not nearly as steeped in the history to speak to why this game was meant to be, but I do know it would have been a blast to see these two teams play in 2012.

After today's game, it is obvious that there is nothing mediocre about MC.

I will guarantee its at Duchon, I went by the field today and it was easily playable. I have no doubt in my mind they moved the game to GBS today so that they could host MC at West.

The big question I have here is: will the MC faithful welcome Dean back into the fold like the proverbial prodigal son? If not, Dean may have to sit on the GBW side with GEpreps.

Then again, it's probably a moot point. Dean will probably attend the LWE / Libertyville game in his Riley Lees' jersey.
