Thought I saw somewhere on here, not alot of football players in the freshman class?
And who ever they did get unless they moved a bunch up to soph or injuries, they really struggled as a team.

Can someone tell me why in the hell St Laurence got rid of Harold? All this super talent & they are currently 5-5 should be 9-1 going to round 2.So how was it any different? Someone please explain
Should’ve, would’ve, couldn’t, didn’t. Blah-blah-blah

5-4 was about right. They drew Hillcrest instead of a suspect 8-1 or 9-0. The season went about as it should have for them

If Harold were here, we'd have been 3-6 and played CoM tomorrow. Did you watch the Hope game last year? Fenwick? He lost to some ****** teams last year that we should have clobbered. X's and O's weren't exactly his thing. That's why I was so surprised that Oak Lawn grabbed him. Hard to recruit a bunch of talented kids from different areas when you are boundaried. Without question...
Adam Nissen > Harold Blackmon.
This year, we lost to the 5A state champ, the 7A state champ, a 7A team that was 5-0 at the time, a tough 6A team, and an 8-1 5A team. If HB faced this schedule, 3-6 would be generous.

I’ll explain. They aren’t good. 5-5 tells the story.

If you want an example of play calling differences, I'll give you one. I was on opposing sidelines every home game the last three years. The prior two years, against any halfway decent team, the opposing coaches would be yelling out the play call. With about 80-90% accuracy. It got to be ridiculous. How often has that happened with Nissen? I'll let you know when it finally does.
