Plays with passion and the SEC games are usually competitive...

Better than watching the Jonas Brother shred the Flag-Football tacklers of Texas A&M and Nebraska. Or, watching Snoop Dogg's USC dance on the side line while kicking Arizona's ***. I rather mow the lawn than most Big-10 ball. Does OM play UF next year? That would be ferocious to watch. Angry Superman versus Nutt with at least half of the homeless Memphis kids gone to the NFL.

pro-style offenses, great athletes.. unfortunately the spread crap that I despise so much is creeping into there too. This season was brutal in the SEC.. QB play was horrendous.. a bunch of teams who couldn't score or field any semblance of a competent offense. Not good times.

he goes out and wins another Heisman next year? He certainly has to be on the short list at this point. Would you change your mind?

How about if the Gators win another NC? You have to think that's at least a 1 in 5 shot right now. I think you have to wait until he's finished on the "greatest ever to play" debate.

If Spikes and Harvin comeback everyone else can mail it in. I hope USC runs the table also and we get the USC -FLA game everyone wants.

Remember that the NC game is at the Rose Bowl next year... although I don't think that the venue would change the outcome of a USC-UF game

In other words he will have the most hardware in his trophy case than any other player when he is done.

I'm just saying it's hard to overcome (1) injury; (2) SEC defenses; and (3) ESPN/ABC's constant fellatio of (insert Big-12 QB here)...

I agree he SHOULD be the favorite, but until it happens, I'll still feel like it's an uphill climb to me for an SEC guy to win the Heisman twice.

maybe the constant fellating of the big 12 and even big 10/usc will subside, at least a little.

plenty of fellatio from ESPN. At least I haven't heard them say many negative things about him.

I don't know why people hate on the PAC-10. They're better than the Big 10, ACC, and Big East. I think you could argue that they were better than the Big 12 based on the bowl season. Their defenses look bad sometimes because of the offenses, but they usually have very solid defenses that hit hard.

I don't mind the spread, but I prefer pro-style offenses. You get a little bit of everything- passing and running.

In fact I want to see USC vs Florida for a NC.

Agree 3 national championships and 2 heismans make him the best.

Loves that spot light too much. Does he deserve the spot light? Maybe, but he's too over the top with it to me. I bet he beats those Phillipine kids when the camera isn't rolling

I'm still not convinced he'll be a good NFL player.

but he wasn't the starting QB on 3 NC teams.. on the first one, Chris Leak was the MVP of the championship game. Tebow was basically their short yardage back and for trick plays. Don't get me wrong, he had an important role on the team but I don't think you count that on his resume the same way you say that Tommie Frazier and Matt Leinart both won 2 NCs as starting QBs. This year could change that (although I don't think they win the NC).
There's a difference between "most decorated" and "best player". Robert Horry is the most decorated player in the NBA (maybe he retired) but he wasn't at any point the best player. Tebow isn't even the best player I've seen in the last 5 years. Adrian Peterson (should've won the Heisman as a freshman), Reggie Bush, and Matt Leinart were all better than Tim Tebow. Tommie Frazier was better too. Personally I don't even think he's the best player on their team now. Percy Harvin makes that team special.
