And I think we can. It's going to be a long shot, but most of the national seeds are out. Can't help but think we have a good chance to make a deep run.
This season is a BIG step forward under Cohen just making it to Omaha but I think this team can play with anyone right now. Just go in loose and see what happens!
Agreed about our chances. When we made it on 2007, we didn't have much of a chance to make any noise. Our pitching was thin and we were riding the wave of a heroic performance of Pigott @ FSU and Rea, Moreland and Easley at the plate. We were totally outmatched by UNC and Louisville. We have pitching, hot with the bats and have a loose, don't give a 17 attitude. That's a pretty good combination.
We are better than Indiana and if KSU makes it, we are better than them too.
Louisville is loaded. They may be the favorite to win our half of the bracket, even if OSU ends up making it.
I really like how we've been playing. We are capable of doing really well in Omaha, especially since we won't see LSU, UNC/SC, or NC State with their ridiculous ace unless it's the Championship.
