Legit questions. Will both teams get first place votes?

Good win for Ole Miss. They earned it.

I will say I think we will beat them in November. They have a good club but there are some holes we can exploit

All I can think about are the possible implications of the egg bowl. I know there's a lot of football left, but never did I think these implications might have a chance to play out?

This years egg bowl could be what last years iron bowl was. Holy ****.

They showed up big time on the big stage. Hats off to them.

We can take down another big boy next week. Gameday, Verne and Gary, and DWS rocking once again.

In the words of Bart Scott, "Can't wait."

Yeah, the Wilner guy had Oklahoma 1 and us 2 last week. So we probably get at least 1 from him. Knock off Auburn next week and we could get 6 or 7 more. Somebody, maybe Fox Sports, can't remember, said earlier this week that if MSU won there next 2 games, then they should be #1 based on the resume it would have with 3 straight top 10 wins.

Tip of the cap to the Bears. Gotta give credit where it's due. I thought the no call face mask & then TD would be a back breaker. But, they hung on & responded. THAT is the biggest difference in both teams this year, that hasn't been there in so many years.

i had turned the game off with 7 minutes left thinking it was over. stupid me. hell of a comeback. bama looked like a team that might lose another time or two this season.

I've always believed football in Ms. was a zero sum

Game. That we both couldn't be good. Maybe that's not the case anymore. If so, good for us both. I personally expect ya'll to us but frankly don't care. We both need to just keep winning

Football in Mississippi has never been a zero sum game. If you look back, there's no real correlation between how good or bad MSU and UM are. There have been plenty of years we both sucked, both were good, and one sucked and the other was good.

VHS doesn't have any chain-link fencing or bleachers with backs in the stadium.

Don't know where that was taken, but it wasn't at Ole Miss.
