This is getting old... I guess I'll just have to replace alcohol with yoga....maybe just join greenpeace, code pink, or the barney frank re-election campaign... or some other ****** assed organization...

what else can go wrong this year?

So since we are not going undefeated then we will suck? We are going to take our bumps early on. I still think we can have a decent season though

we are too young and we have no low post scoring...just enjoy watching us mature, hopefully win an NIT game, and pray nobody transfers in the offseason

However, the league is horrible and that will play into MSU's favor

The fact you are calling the NIT for this team suddenly makes me 100% sure they are going to make the tournament.

...if all the hurt players from the 2008 squad are healthy & stay healthy, the 2009 baseball team is going to be pretty good.

I'm not predicting a trip to Omaha, but I am predicting a vast improvement over last year.

Wow we lose our first game of the season against a pretty good WSU team and some of you are complaining? Going into this little tournament I said I would be happy if they went 1-1 mainly because the other three teams in this thing are pretty good. Now we play a Texas Tech team at 4:30 that likes to play up-tempo and take as many threes as possible. This team is going to be alright. In the starting line-up we have one freshman, two sophmores, and two juniors. Hell even though Kodi Augustus is a soph, but he could be called a freshman since he never even hardly played last year. The team is young and will go through some growing pains but they will be fine. I'm not saying that they will go to the NCAA but crazier things have happened. As weak as the SEC is this year, especially the West, you can never tell what will happen.

Some of the same nitwits on here were throwing in the towel after losses to Clemson and Southern Illinois. All we did after that was go 12-4 in the SEC, win the West again, and go to the NCAA tournament. If you don't know jacksquat about our basketball team then don't comment on it. It ain't hard.
