As opposed to the Croom Error where we would have killed to be marginal and we would lose to teams we were supposed to beat? I'll take Mullen any day.
Tulane? La Tech? I understand the frustration with not beating Auburn or S.C. this year, but beating LSU, Bama or Ark was a huge long shot this year. 6-6 and a crappy bowl keeps me on board. Being consistent against the teams you're supposed to beat is the first step.<div>

People are all of a sudden acting like they forgot where we once were. We were neverperennialpower houses. We are not too far removed from when we were wishing our teams played remotely close to how we're playing now. I can't lie...this is the most frustrating I've seen in a while, but I can't start throwing Mullen under the bus now.
Agreed, some of you people have absolutly no interest in building a program. You just want the Super Coach. Well guess what, it doesn't exist! Good food takes time. I hate it as well, but it's about a process, not one gme. When you work in sports you cannot be reactionary, you must believe in the process and look at things objectively.

This was supposed to be our year, huh? Did you just conviently forget that we have no o-line and lost 3 NFL players on our defense? I agree recruiting has to get better, but if you really bought into the hype then thats a you problem. Did you look at our team player for player and compare them to other teams player for player, or did you just look at some ranking or what the media was saying?

we were in cannot be climbed out of in three years and two classes. Look at OK State. They are about 7 or 8 years into this and they get beat by Iowa St. We are another year or two from being competitive in the SEC. Our losses in the West are to the #1, #3, and #6 teams and then Auburn.

This place would would have gone full retard. If we make back to back Bowl Games it is a success. Sadly it's an improvement for our program. We won't have to play 3 top 6 teams every year we'll get our shot in the future. We just have to build up little by little. It's not going to be an overnight success, unless we cheat. But we all know the NCAA would be on us like white on rice for a discount on some shirts.
