For the first time in a LONG time, we may have actually found a point guard.

But, to keep with tradition: Phil Turner still stinks.

Bost has been quick and can handle it well, but he hasnt made great decisions so far. he set RJohnson up for an offensive foul, and has been a bit too fast and quick. if the others cant keep up, quickness does no good.
but he has a pretty good shot...and clearly he isnt afraid to shoot it.

Stewart has been decent too.

Bailey apparently has one move- spin move to his right off the block while trying to push it in...not too great so far.

sloppy sloppy sloppy, but im sure they will learn from this.

oh, and Turner still sucks. just bad.

They are playing much better than last week. Gonna be a fun roller coaster season but we are definitely going to have some depth by the end of the season to build on for next year.

I'm not watching the game, but judging by the stats, what is he doing to stand out as a PG? 2 assists and 2 turnovers and 2-3 from 3 point land. Sounds like a typical guard type game, but doesn't exactly scream look at me I'm a point guard. What am I missing other than the fact that he's not everybody's whipping boy, Jamont?

You said it yourself. You would have to see him play.

he has looked like an average PG, but a very good basketball player.

he has forced some passes, been a little sloppy on dribbling, etc...so he hasnt really looked awesome as a PG. but at the same time, he has looked like a very good basketball player overall.

its the first game, he is a freshman, yada yada. im sure he will see the floor better and make better decisions thru the games.

holcombe doesnt have a good shot, but i do like him out there. he hustles a lot and is in the mix on most every play on defense.
him at the SF spot is night and day different than Ravern, totally different games and strengths.
