This has nothing to do with Paris, unless he has stopped coaching only one end of the court. It will take more than one game to establish that.
There are some fans who only come around to post when the team is playing poorly and don't say much when the team plays well.Looks like at least one is. Geez
There are others who are conspicuously silent when the team is playing like crap, but then show up to crow after a random good win.
There are some that simply knee jerk after ever loss and throw a two year old tantrum when things don't go as they predicted..

As everyone knows, I support L.P. but I don't live and die with every win or loss (in any sport) as some posters do. My family is
at Steamboat this week so my focus has been on family. I didn't see last nights game and miss many others due to time/priority constraints. I have been disappointed by the lack of progress with some of our players, but i'm not throwing in the towel.
It's not a matter of throwing the towel. It's just realism. All along I've allowed for a '96-'97 type of resurgence for this team in conference play. Barring that, we know what the outcome is going to be. It feels like fate accompli to me. Again, unless there's some kind of unforeseen miraculous turnaround. So, according to you, a "keyboard warrior" is somebody that expected a 12-2 LSU team to beat a bad looking Carolina team on their home court. The children's table is at The Insiders.
Dont get distracted by that SHINY coin in the corner. This program is a disaster. Hopefully i will be proven wrong, and they win enough to mke the Tourney, But when you live by the 3 pointer, you will Die by the Three Pointer.. But to be honest, i didnt see this team winning more than 15 or 16 games.... They may actually better that!
Have you been to a game? Look at our stats for the year. We lack in a few areas, but in general this team is built to score and they have. Relying on 3's is not ideal, but that is where the game is right now. This team moves the ball very well, almost to a fault. They average the fewest TO's in the league I believe, rank near the top of the COUNTRY in FT % and FG % inside the arc. Defense, rebounding and 3's are all fixable with the latter being the wild card in terms of streakiness. Fans really need to just stop with the kneejerk nonsense and let the season play out. IF we fail to make a post season tourney, then yes, LP probably needs to go, but again who is out there that could honestly move the needle here?
We had opportunities to win that game. If half of the missed 3's dropped, its a win. Fans think we are way off, but we aren't.
Seems pointless to spend time crying over something very few even take the time to dig into. Forums like this are black holes of negativity. Always will be. I get a kick out of some of the nonsense tbh.
It bothers me too when people come to a gamecock sports message board to talk about gamecock sports.

I guess this is what I don't get. Posters are blasted for being negative for posting realistic takes when the teams suck.
The football team won 4 games this year, 1 conference game. Two P4 wins. The basketball team has looked bad most of the season until the LSU game. Are we allowed to talk about how bad the team is? If not, should they just shut forums down when teams are bad? If your opinion is that you're only allowed to say good things, even when the team is terrible, that's fine. It doesn't bother me what other people say. If someone else is unrelentingly positive, fine. I don't know why realism scares some people so much.
I've always been 100% consistent on here. When a team sucks, I say it. When they're good, I say it. Sure, there may be some who find doom and gloom in everything, but that balances out those who always see things as much better than they are.

Absolutely no. That would be like saying Bronny James has some shades of MJ. I was in college at that time and that team was spectacular.
I remember the team well. There was nothing at all spectacular about them going into conference play. We were 6-5 with losses to Charleston Southern and UNC Asheville. Do I expect that from this team? No. But there was no reason to expect that from '96 team either.
