I've been gutted before.

Your DL whipped our OL, and - to quote Frost - that has made all the difference.

The miracle catch helped.
The pick 6 was most unfortunate.
But if your DL falters, we overcome those plays.

Hope anyone who came to Bloomington was treated well, are well, ate well, and got out of traffic quicker than you thought you would.

If we could get healed, we could give anyone a better game, but that's just the way it is.
See y'all next time.

Trying to get healed is our goal. We have injuries to 2 wideouts, our TE, RB, 3-4 OL, QB, so we have lots of healing to do.

Thanks! Indiana seems like a team knocking on the door. Looking at your schedule I would almost bet the Hoosiers go 5-1 the rest of the way. Michigan would be a tall order, but I think they could take all the others.

Thanks; you were all you could be. We are a very young DL; so this is great news and we have a great new coach. Two DT's went into the NFL early and MSU has as much of our remaining experience via transfer as we do. ... Good luck going forward; we have a tough schedule. Some miss our qb melted down in the Iowa game last year and imo we could have won - the interesting thing is we are 9-1 in the last ten games ; so we are a load.

I can't imagine how traffic from the game could've been bad....

Go luck to IU the rest of the way.

Roads being "fixed" are hurting retention these days. (We typically have about 10,000 stay outside and discuss religion in the parking lot.) Rumor is that Purdue grads work on the road crews and have sworn an oath to keep roads to/from the stadium in constant disrepair.

Looking for West Lafayette?
Go north til you smell it, then west til you step in it.

You have 3 tough road games left.
Hunker down.

From what I gathered, we had more players out due to injury than Indiana. Our #1 possession WR and our clear #1 TE, and a matchup nightmare, were out. For all intents and purposes, our #1 RB (IMO) was out. He ran the ball once and clearly wasn't healthy. We lost our #1 RT on the first play of the game to a lingering injury, and 2 others on the OLine were nursing ankle injuries. Our offense was a MASH unit.

We were clearly not healthy on offense and it showed. Like someone else said, I don't think we struggle as much if both teams were healthy.

The "miracle" catch looked like to me that our QB was in trouble and threw it to an open spot for our WR to go get. The INT was simply a poorly thrown ball being caught right on the numbers and an offense not being fortunate enough to be in the right place to stop the runback.

I said it years ago when Kevin Wilson was hired, that Indiana was going to become a team to be reckoned with eventually. You're getting to that point. Wish you guys well the rest of the way.

i would have to think that someone will come sniffing at Wilson or Allen. probably both. have no idea if they would leave---they have done a nice job at indiana.
