dumb was calling your last timeout right there. You get the layup, foul immediately and you have 5+ seconds with a timeout to get a tying 3-pointer.

Yes it was. 2 does nothing but give them ball back and an opportunity to drain clock. Our only really chance after that was to call a to and set up a steal on the inbounds. Which was much less likely than hitting a 3 in the previous possession.

we got the ball all the way across halfcourt and got a shot off (and Bost still had time for at least 2 more dribbles when he threw that shot up). You're telling me we couldn't have gotten a better shot with more time plus a timeout?
