I know the tradition of the WSC and it's century-long rivalries will prevent this from happening.... BUT..... the remainder of the DVC, BB, and WSC consist of 20 schools that could break down in very nice divisions. Crossovers maintain the rivalries, and the divisions can be adjusted. Heard a rumor today that the 5 have gone on bended Knee to the UpState8 for a home. Trying to confirm that but being 750 miles away hard to get face to face with people.

I have to imagine if they can't get anyone to join the DVC that NN and NC will try to break out on their own and join another conference.

The Valley schools are stuck with an odd number of schools and no conference is going to want them or a five team Naperville package.

You could be right but I don't think it's quite as dire as you are predicting. If DVC can't get one School to join or three there are still lots of scenarios. A lot of things can happen.

Example - What's left of the Upstate 8 Valley and River is only 9 teams after Dukane Departures. Add the valleys back in and it's 12. Add NN and NC and you have 14. Two divisions of 7.

That doesn't have to be one of the divisions. I just thought that up based on geography and School size In terms of enrollment. In theory the 5 schools could be split up into river and valley just as long as NC/NN play each other every year and same with WV/NV each year NV/MV etc. if the Naperville's were in a different division than the valleys.... then the crossovers could be hard coded for "The Naperville's" vs " the Valleys" each and every year if the goal is to not have a couple of schools playing all 5 of what's left of the DVC in football in a season.

As of about 9am this morning I can tell you without doubt DaBrook has not said yes. Oswego I have no idea, but would find that hard to believe.
