He’s literally here out of boredom/ lacking substance in his actual life along with trying to rile
Up strangers on the internet. He gets a quick rush of satisfaction when he makes a low effort “Kentucky citizens are hicks!” comment. Now ask yourself, why would someone do that?

Don’t let him make you upset- that’s what he wants. If anything, pity him.
Looks like it has disappeared. Is there a way to tell who has been banned?

Absolutely. Some people need to trade their slick designer shoes for some muck boots and get their asses off the sidewalks sometimes. Some of the smartest people I’ve ever known had an eighth grade education, or even less.
Absolutely...intelligence and educated are two different things, and there are a lot of dumbasses walking around w/ college diplomas

No, Cal wouldn’t have him on the floor. Know why? Because Boston is an NBA draft prospect and Allen is not.
Also, we have already seen Allen come in and hit a couple threes, then get taken out. He is a pure shooter and if given the same chances as Boston has had, he would show you just how good he is.
Do you think Boston deserves to ball hog and turn the ball over constantly and stay in the game, but Allen comes out the second he loses his man on defense?
If you can't tell Allen is a pure shooter, that's on you.
The theory that cal only plays draft picks is false. Did he not play Hawkins? Willis? If you can't guard anyone you can't play. I'm all for him coming in a few mins here n there, but he should def not be getting major mins

Hawkins and Willis were seniors, but they still played behind Fox, Monk, Bam, Briscoe and Gabriel until Cal gave up on Wenyen in 16/17. But also, thanks to a bunch of recruiting misses, the 15/16 and 16/17 teams were extremely thin. Hell, 15/16 didn’t even have a center beyond Skal.

Bottom line is Derek and Hawkins were still backup players and they got to play because there was nobody else.

Cal has options this year. Allen sits while all his 5* guys get to play and the second string guys struggle to score AND defend. At least Allen can score.

I have several, but this is my biggest complaint about Cal. He is going to stick with the NBA so called prospect until the cows come home regardless. Then he says we can’t hide you. Hell he has hidden a few so well nobody ever saw them again. Pisses me off. He absolutely, positively just cares about the number he can get drafted. No loud mouthed sunshine pumping garden pest is going to convince me otherwise. And don’t ask why I haven’t watched a single game yet, and have no intentions of starting anytime soon, there’s your answer. Anyone who doesn’t like it to the point of getting mad, put me on ignore. Problem solved. Bass and Baller are exceptions. I get my daily jollies from y’all. Don’t deprive me of that, I’d have to get a rooster.

I’ll bite. YES. I will take them any day and twice on Sunday over these 5 stars whose whole body never enters the gym. Are you old enough to remember Pitino’s first and second teams? That’s the kind of players I want to watch and support. No, they didn’t win a championship, but they left it all on the floor. Same with Hawk and Willis. Give me effort and team minded players over lazy selfish players with more talent. I’ll take my chances.

Honestly with the current results, and I saw improvement against ND, that was a stupid and insensitive remark by him. It came across as very arrogant. I’ve supported him from the beginning but that was uncalled for.

Man, if only the kids at your school you look over could see what you say. What a guy, huh? banging men’s wives and going to work the next day and giving a kid detention.
I was just thinking the same thing. He constantly insults people and says disgusting things on here, but yet he deals with kids all day as a principal? If I were a parent of one of his students and I saw what he is writing on this board, I would definitely be concerned.

I like players like that as well because it's what we had growing up. Times have changed and it's not cals fault.
You guys would run cslbout if town he recruited players like that and had 2 straight seasons of horrible ball. You're doing it now and it's only been 5 games
You do realize that this is exactly the type players other teams are kicking our 5 star a$$es with, right?
Yea. For once in 11 seasons we are really bad.
The argument for recruiting less talented players is ridiculous. Not one fan would let cal take 2 seasons of building and losing consistently with no chance in March. You guys are mad at 3 weeks of it.. Where is he going to find players that will want to stay and not go make money? If the player does show signs of being good he will still leave after 2 seasons. This is not virginia or villanova. It's kentucky. The days of kids wanting to stay in college are gone n won't be back.

I wasn't responding to your post. I was making a comment. You want a team full of players that are avg . The only way fans like you will be happy again is to root for virginia and texas tech. Not villanova because they are eliminated every year too soon. I think virginia would suffice. Good kids that don't have a chance of leaving and will play hard. Make an elite 8 about once every 5/6 seasons

No not once in 11 years twice, you have perhaps forgotten Cals NIT team, something that should NEVER happen here. I also might point out we have won 1 title in the last 22 years, better than none but in reality Cal hasn’t won any more of them than Tubby or Rick or Joe B. At his rate we will catch UCLA , which was Cals states goal when he came here in about60 or 70 years.

I don’t think I have insulted anyone here since I came but that Belshazzar guy who made the comment about Kentucky people is a colossal horse patute. Was in the Navy, been all over the world, and traveled most of the country in my time. The average Kentucky people I have met are the salt of the earth. It was not by accident that I chose this state to retire in. What many lack in education they more than make up for in decency, honesty, fairness and a work ethic second to none. You need to buzz off fella.

We weren't bad in the beginning of that season. It took an injury of the number 1 pick to derail us.

It’s funny that you just mentioned two recent national Championship programs where the players do obviously want to be in college and stay 3-4 years. Don’t get me wrong, all of them want to make $ in the NBA, but some realize it takes more than one year for it to happen.

Give it up. You are arguing with either a young kid who doesn't know any better, someone who is oblivious to the facts, or someone who is just trolling UK fans who know what their eyes see is happening on the floor, and in the bigger picture, the demise of our once proud program, and most longtime Cat fans are sickened by what is taking place under Cal's watch.

I’m good sticking with Cal this season and next. However, if I don’t see much of the same next season, I’m cool to let him walk. I do think he can turn this ship around though. Even this season. We shall see. But I would love for him to keep his arrogant mouth shut. Kinda pissed me off to see some of the nonsense that comes out. I think he’s earned the chance to make some changes.

Agree 100%, he deserves the chance. What will you have to see that makes you think he is changing anything? Because, I don't think he will change a thing, his ego won't let him, IMO.

maybe start by giving Allen some minutes to see what he can do. I’d like to see some actual offense ran. He’s done it before, Knight/Jorts season; 14season. I’d like to see a few of these kids back next season instead of leaving for overseas clubs or transfer. And I’d like to see Cal shut his mouth; maybe actually discuss some real basketball in his pressers.

Doubt this happens either, as having an offense is not conducive for NBA draft, this is why Cal won't play a zone

He has done it before, like at UMASS and Memphis

Doubt this happens either because of the culture here, and Cal is always, always recruiting over the guys that should stay.

That will not happen, that has always been a fault of his, why you think Chaney was trying to whip Cal's ***?

You don't have to be the second coming of John Wooden to see that the on court product that Cal puts out there is simply garbage. He has had seasons where the overwhelming talent of the players made the system watchable, but with other schools adopting one and done, those seasons are not coming back. "Dribble drive" is code for... You are only going to be here for a year and it's not worth my time and effort to try and teach you an actual offensive set. His gimmick worked and everyone involved benefited from it, but that gimmick is no longer the way forward.

While agree with a good part of this, I will always give credit where it’s due. Cal did make major changes with the Knight Final Four team. He went with a pick and roll offense (rather than the dribble drive) to take advantage of that team’s strength which was perimeter shooting. That team wasn’t stacked with Uber athletes like the Wall/Cousins team the year before so he adjusted to what he had. It shows Cal “can” change it up. Will he again? Remains to be seen. By the way, I’m not comparing that 2011 team to the current one, which can’t throw it in the ocean. I’m just saying he has shown the ability to make adjustments. I think he’s gotten a bit lazy (compared to when he got here) and stubborn since winning the title in 2012.
