or, so he says. He has been promoting the release of the name for WEEKS now. Sheridan supposed to be on @ 3:00. Any guesses on if/who the money man and witness are? IF he releases the name, he better be damn sure because he could face some major heat/lawsuits if he isnt on point.. Im guessing its something like:

Milton McGregor/ Victory Land Casino as the money source,
and the bagman may be someone/former player at AU.

To answer your question about who is reportedly the bagman, the RUMOR is Freddy Weygand who played at AU during the mid-80s. Supposedly he worked for that fat yellow bastard AU insider, Jimmy Rane.

With the explosiveness of the allegations coming out against Miami, there's no room for a Finebaum/Sheridan pop gun today.

After that yahoo story Finebaum has NO ROOM to shoot a blank today. On the other hand, if he can drop a huge bomb, has a lot to gain

...their starting outfield was Bo Jackson (in CF), andFreddie Weygand and Trey Gainous (another AU football wide receiver) in the corners. Probably fastest outfield in college baseball history, though 1979 Arkansas claims differently.

I was guessing that was around the time Kevin McReynolds was there, but he was neither black nor fast. That may have been a little early for him.

...in the OF and the only black player was Johnny Ray, who later starred with the Pirates. It may have been 1985, or maybe it was a different school. But I looked and can't find the picture I remember. I thought it was Arkansas, but since I can't remember what I ate yesterday, it is likely I am wrong. I'll come across it and post it here for you when I find it.

I was just interested in the somewhat obscure reference to the 79 Arkansas baseball team.

Paul Finebaum is a regional opinion talk-radio show. Why would he hold all this to promote a show that he really doesn't have too much affiliation with (besides the fact he is from Alabama and is a frequent visitor on the show)? Instead, why doesn't he headline USA Today (the company he ACTUALLY works for) and promote his own name instead of his buddy Finebaum?

Most people on here are probably right... He will spew a bunch of BS trying to affirm his credibility that he has "inside sources" and everyone else is jealous that he knows the name and has these "sources," but there will be nothing of substance that comes out of the interview today. Of course, I could have to eat my words... but none of this makes any sense at all.

Well, I don't think Sheridan "works" for USA Today. They publish his odds but I doubt he's considered an employee any more than the guy who creates the crossword puzzle for them. And Finebaum is starting to be more national with the Sirius/XM deal. He'll likely always be centered around the SEC but his callers are getting more national.

the rumor that it could actually be Kenny Rogers? That's who Cecil was working through anyway. Even if it is I don't think it hurts us - it would prob clear us even more.

The next time you are considering wasting the precious time God gave you, listening for something valuable from Danny Sheridan...

Please refer to the above statement...
