Like the man said, we just don't have the players to get it done, but we will

Good shout out for 6Pack

and in my opinion 6P needs to get off of Cohen's arce.

"Well, I guess you decided to finally step out from behind the computer screen and show yourself."

I talked to Cohen a little bit after the show, and I really enjoyed talking to him. Talking to him, I could see where he could definately be a smartass, and I could see where the players could take that the wrong way, and maybe get their feelings hurt, but personally, I think he would be fun to play for if you could deal with the comments and laugh them off and not take it personally.

I agreed with what he talked about as far as "stacking" our team with juniors and seniors, and he talked about a lot of things that I mentioned on here in the past.

I asked him about Luke Bole DHing, and he said that they wanted him to make contact a little bit better having seen him in the fall, but he also told me that he wouldn't rule out him hitting in the future.

I also asked him about the expectations for next year, and he basically said that he didn't like to talk about it right now because we are still in the middle of the season and he felt like it would be disrespectful to the seniors. I can respect that, but reading between the lines, it probably won't be too good.

As I left, he told me to keep posting. LOL.

I'm a little lost, but did you personally speak to Cohen and he knew who you were from posting here? No way.

It was DawgsTalk between the 35 minute and 50 minute mark. I was the first question.

But yes, I did indeed personally speak to Cohen, and yes I think he knew of me.

Let's be honest here- our coach doesn't communicate solely using the Pony Express and typewriter anymore.

That is what I think. Most of You just choose not to see it.

I know some of You don't like and that is ok with me.

I just think if He were going to right this ship , the improvement would already be seen.

I think We are already wasting time with him still running this team. Sadly , He will get at least 1 more year and most likely 2. In the end , it will compare to giving Croom too much time.

of why MState doesn't deserve a winner. Go back into hibernation and get back to me in 2 years, when Cohen has more than 1 recruiting class on the field.

so if he doesn't get the job done somebody should be left with a few more players than what Cohen has had the last 2 years. Do I think Cohen is getting the maximum out of the team he has this year? Absolutely not and he has made some decisions on player rotations and pitching changes that have been real head scratchers. HOWEVER, I will say that ANY coach that had been left what Polk left our program with (and that definitely includes Raffo) would have failed to this point to some extent. I guess its just a matter of the degree of failure. With a great coaching job this team might have sneaked into the SEC tourney as a 7 or 8 seed with an outside shot at a regional bid but that is about the extent of success this team could have had given the injuries to both position players and key pitchers.

i love it when people like you give so much credence one way or the other to what someone says on a message board. Seriously, this is why the university doesnt "deserve" a winner? just calm down with that stuff.

I hate the hell out of Croom , Polk and for sure didn't want Raffo anywhere near being the HC of this program...........All of that said , I still think Cohen is a F*ck up and We are wasting time letting him run this team. He can't even get this team to run the bases worth a ****. He is in over his head and the longer he is here , the longer We will suffer for it.

Either Cohen is going to turn it around, or the next guy will because one thing that I have no doubt about is that Cohen would leave the next guy a MUCH better group of players than what he inherited.

I mean, last year we had a guy David Hayes that Polk brought in with is last class that was throwing 72 with his fastball.

Coach has run down Polk's last few classes already. The bottom line is, if you have players, you win. Especially in the SEC.

to archive that trash. Crooms=Cohen. Unbelievable. Hey Cohen may not be the next Joe Torre but at least he is proving that he can sign highly ranked classes. The only thing the Walrus ever did was quote Winston Churchill. How can you say after one recruiting class, ONE, that someone is a failure. That's some imagination there.

Cohen has previous HC experience in college and won a conference title in the SEC. The SEC is just as tough in baseball than football. There is no comparison.

Don't get me wrong, Cohen sucks right now but there is no comparison. The loss tonight was inexcusable.

I didn't compare Croom to Cohen ,I said that in the end giving Cohen too much time would compare to giving Croom too much time.

And when You get right down to it , at least Croom had 1 fluke winning season. At thispoint , I am betting againstcohenscoring that 1 fluke.

Cohen better be thankful that the show was LAST night. Otherwise my question would have been- What are your expectations as far as next year- beat all of the SWAC opponents?

It's not like coaches don't ever have free time that they spend on the computer. Also I would believe the MSU coaches are inclined to visit a MSU message board during their free time.

I don't buy into all the coach-speak of "We don't read what the media has to say about us"..... of course they do, especially their own fanbase. That would be like running a company without listening to any of your investors.
