But we showed the effort and the heart I wanted to see today and I think this tournament has been a GREAT experience for the team.

Well, we played very hard the first half. Bradley usually subs Altidore out for Feilhaber around 65', but today he had to hold off on subbing Jozy as long as possible. He came out about 10' later than usual, which means he was very tired, and he was replaced with more of a role player than a big sparkplug like Benny is. Against a team with the quality of players Brazil has.... well, it's hard to hold on.
With Edu out and Adu not there, our bench seems to be mostly role guys except for Feilhaber.
To our credit, we could have won that game. We missed a few opportunities at goals. To their credit, they MAY have gotten another goal.
I'm fine with the result- we played hard and simple and just ran out of steam. It happens, we're young, and we'll improve.
