I give. OM wins this round. Wins the recruting battle this year no matter how they did it. I say let them enjoy it.

I take comfort in this (theory) thought: Mullen, in addition to being anincredible young coach, also comes equipped with serious marketing savvy. So it's not completely out of left field to think that much of what he directed toward OM in the first and even this year was VERY good marketing to his own fan base (TSUN, the trash talking, knowing inherently that he has to whip them, etc.)

But NOW, now, I'll bet you there is some legit hate happening. So for a guy who didn't need ANY extra incentive to beat the piss out of the Bears, henow has it. Good luck Tyrone (hint: just because Relf runs off tackle seemingly carrying the ball doesn't mean he actually possesses it).

A good coach can get a little more out of a average guy. I said it on another thread that many of these two and three star atheletes have not been coached very well and if the college coach is good he can get more out of him. Nutt does not have the ability to do that. If Ole Miss is cheating, let them, it will come back to hurt them in the future. You can do it a little and are able to keep it quiet but if you are doing it a lot you will have someone talk. People like to brag.

the same people berating you for an insensitive post will be making all kinds of excuses and will believe whatever they have to in order to justify that their beloved coaching staff did nothing wrong.

such as the death of a kid, or someone getting injured, to make any sort of a point or make fun of anyone, or anything. It is absolutely in poor taste. It makes you look bad. It makes other MSU fans look bad, whether you want to admit it or not.

In the end this is just about a game, or games, and your hatred of another institution should never cloud your judgment to the point where you think its alright to make light of any tragic situation. When it does, perhaps its time to step back and focus on something else.

Regardless of how the kid died (and a plaintiff lawyer's opinion counts for little), he's using it as Ole Miss-MSU ****-talking. That makes him a piece of ****. He's using a kid's life as message board fodder.

That makes him an enormous piece of ****.

This whole +$%%*+# thread is eggbowl.com and was basically started by a ********** who, knowing absolutely nothing about what happened, has made light of the death of a 20 y/o man in order to get his jollies by poking fun of the "OM Bear" posters. Less than a month ago, Dawgstudant said that this was still a place where both OM and State people could have a rational discussion. I call ******** <div>
</div><div>For those of you who are new here, if you have to ask the question, "what are you doing on your rivals message board, BEAR!" I'm here because this board was +$%%*+# invented so OM and State people could talk without it degrading into eggbowl.com ********. Before the coaching search, if that **** got started, then it would get locked, and people would get banned. It has apparently become the new normal.</div><div>
</div><div>I want to make it clear that if our coaches or staff didn't follow the proper procedures or didn't do what they were supposed to do in keeping that kid safe, then they are liable, and I hope that family gets every penny they can. That being said, even if I defended our coaching staff or "rationalized" what they did, that doesn't make Big D anything less than the first rate ********** that he is, and I can assure that if he had posted that **** before the coaching search, he would have never posted again here.</div>
