LSU, Oregon, Auburn, Boise, Ohio State, Miami, etc... I'm sure Bama is squeaky clean**.

The only school that isn't seeing any return on investment is the Bears.</p>

Northwestern is up on Illinois playing with a team that looks a lot like their student body. Recruit smart, skilled athletes and see what happens. Don't get fooled by speed and athleticism. This is college football and not the pros. Play smart, make few mistakes and you can win more than you lose. We won't win the SEC championship but I'm more than happy with 7 wins per year and that can be done at Mississippi State.

..he swindled $2.5 million out of Mississippi State University.

That's the biggest example of cheating in all of college football.

or are we so desperate for a winner we're willing to make it rain on anyone coach with a successful season?

And the chnage in attitude he has brought about, he has earned his money.

No, we aren't a good football team right now. Yes he has had some dipshit calls and clock management issues this year. That said, at this point, we are better off for having him.

They're #24 and playing at home and Northwestern is playing well with student athletes. But guess who had more stars as recruits (as opposed to higher SAT scores)?

and 37th last year.....I don't think you wanna be using them as your measuring stick for anything. Their talent level isn't any better than ours

to a supposedly less talented group of student athletes who will likely move on to become productive citizens. It's the way college football used to operate before the big money came into play.
