I have to say I doubted his information but so glad he is right. Can't get enough tall, athletic and skilled position-less players lol.

There's no such thing as October Fool's Day! Once of the nice little things about being a sports fan is when one day you just out of the blue get great news. I think this qualifies.

And to the KU fan who started this whole thread nice job of hanging in there when you were being raked over the coals, and doing so without lashing out. Of course when your really confident of something it's easy to be cool.

I hate to be that guy, but according to kubballfan, Gabriel has be done to UK for some time now. So my question is; did Cal prefer Gabriel over Bridges, and take a pass on Bridges?

Nah. My guess is after the MSU visit Cal could see he was lost and immediately made Gabriel a priority. A "long time" probably means a week or so.

I actually think Cal wanted Gab regardless & with his versatility, if Bridges did choose UK Gab just plays 3 & 4. But with Bridges choosing MSU it just makes GAB that much more of a necessity.

This thread should be permanently pinned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's an all-time classic. The threw no one believed but really, really wanted to & it freaking happened! Doesn't get any better than that.
