Nine wins in this conference practically puts you on the bubble providing you beat some quality conference teams.

#296 and #284 coming to town next week, so that helps the record but not the SOS. If Huskers can find a way to go 3-3 in their first six conference games, that would be a decent start to the new year.

We have played a bear of a schedule and have held up and competed well. It's really too bad we let the VT and Clemson games slip away.

Dayton, Va Tech and Clemson were definitely the "swing" games on the nonconference schedule. At least NU got one of those, but definitely had a shot at all three.
