Right? But this goes to show Dabo is nothing more than a facilitator. He doesn’t actually do much of the coaching. He facilitates and his coordinators do the important work. Great if you have the right guys in place, bad if not. We’re seeing the latter right now apparently.

The O wasn’t bad either. I thought they played a better game than FSU did. We’re probably not having this discussion if Dabo wouldn’t have screwed with the kicker position. What he did was baffling to say the least.

The person that made the clemson d look good back in the day is now at ok. Can't remember the oc that made dabo and clemson look good but think it was was morris if I remember correctly. Always felt dabo was the front man and recruiter and he was told to keep his hands off on field decisions.

It was Morris….and reportedly told Dabo to keep his hands off the offense. Surprised GR didn’t do the same as per Dabo they are running the “Clemson offense” that Morris set up years ago….that’s assuming GR has his own offense and hasn’t been running Dyess’s offense or whomevers offense the past several years.

GR has always been under Sonny Dykes. That TCU O was Dykes. The SMU O he ran was Dykes. This is why Beamer only wanted to bring him in under Bobo. He's always worked for the man. Can you imagine what The Logg would be doing with Shipley, Mafah, and just an average OL??

Thanks for the correction. Just like Kurt Roper was when we hired him….had worked for an offensive guru for a number of years.
