West Forsyth @ Richmond Sr. Thoughts

This should be a great game, West is playing some really good football...playing bully ball with their size and speed...but.... so is Richmond Sr..... West Forsyth will see what that Raider Mojo/Magic is all about this Friday. I've seen it first hand 35 years ago, I already know. The Richmond 1990 Hail Mary win was probably the greatest State Championship in NC history. It was the closest West has come to a State Football Title(It was heartbreaking). It's been about 10 years since they last met.

For those who can see the Video, West Forsyth's uniform was more white, silver/gray with dark green. The one defensive guy from West was so close to a sack. I forgot his name but what a story for media...What would that guy have to say about that play 35 years later?

This should be good matchup. I could see this being a close game and it wouldn’t surprise me that West Forsyth could win it.

I was last there in 2003 second round playoff game where Richmond County defeated West Forsyth 20-10. Small college atmosphere. i wished I could make the trip this year, but got another game I am going to.

Ahhh, Good ole Kount of Hamlet. He's an old buddy of mine.

Richmond Sr and Page played NW Guilford about the same.
Page and West Forsyth played each other pretty evenly in a scrimmage, 1 week before the season.

I think Richmond and West Forsyth are probably very close talent wise, and it will come down to maybe coaching and turnovers.
A tough, close game. Probably high scoring.

Richmond scored 15 unanswered points in the last 5:50 of the game. They also had a blocked punt and a two-point conversion. Great win, Go Raiders!
