A lot of credit for the development of Patterson and the strong play from the freshman QB last week can be traced back to the greatest QB in Iredell County, Brady Pope, being on the coaching staff. Speaking of which Brady's dad is the head coach at the middle school and just led the middle school to an undefeated season so be on the lookout for those kids to move up next year.

Brady Pope was a good one with 10,624 total passing yards and 112 TD passes.
So legit question, what the crap happened to WI last night? Getting beat by 5-4 (at the time) Bunker Hill? (Thanks a lot, now Bunker Hill is likely coming to Burns in round 2) Lol. But really how'd WI lose this one? QB still out? Other injuries? Or was WI just outplayed and overrated?
I think with West Iredell not having many backups it’s starting to take a toll on the players. Without the starting QB isn’t helping either. Hopefully with a weekend of rest and QB possibly returning for 1st rd of playoffs will help.
The bye week will also help West Iredell in getting back to full strength. Not sure when the QB will be back or how long it will take him to get back to full strength and in playing condition.
