I must say I was pretty impressed with the drainage system at Auburn this past weekend. They measured 2 1/2" of rain fell during the 1 hour weather delay. I took a couple of pics, the first during the flood and the second about 30 minutes later.

it cant help but drain off to sidelines.
If you stand on side side of the field and look across at someone standing on the other, you cannot see below their knees.
Biggest, most pronounced crown on a fball field I have ever seen.

working by looking ath ESPN's first pic, down the middle is where the largest pipe in the system is and it is sucking that thing dry.

not the drainage, the fact they didn't play in that. didn't we play troy in similar weather with tornado warnings back in like 02 (and lost)?

if there was lightning on the field, i redact my entire post.

They told the fans to leave the stadium. I just wondered where the hell they thought 90,000+ people were going to go.

Actually, the students didn't leave the stadium. There was lightning, but I did not hear any announcement about evacuating.

b/c the pictures seem to directly contradict what everyone thought your comment was.

to the other sideline across the field, you will see a large crown in the middle of the field. Looking at someone standing across the field on the other side, you can only see about an inch or so below their knees. The rest of their legs and feet are hidden b/c of the large crown running down the middle of the field.

If you are laying on one sideline and look across.... because even Tyson Lee is tall enough to see over the crown while standing. (I had to throw that in..)

Hell, you dont even have to actually be ON the field to see it. If you have even been sitting in the stands down anywhere below about row 5 or 6 you would know what I am talking about.
Actually I cant believe with ESPN Dawg ON the field Sat. night he did not notice what I am talking about. Its one of those things that just make you say Wow, that"s a hell of difference between the middle of the field and the sideline. Its so much so that I can see where it may even affect a QB throwing from the middle of the field toward the sidline to a back or receiver.</p>

And yes, there is a crown. But as ESPNDawgs PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE shows, the crown is nowhere near as severe as you made it out to be. Not even close.

I could verbally tell you that you are wrong as could others. ESPNDawg went a step further and posted PICTURES showing you were wrong.

The next step is to drag your *** out to the field and show you in person.
