Well this is getting out of hands. Oscar and Culver are both nom factors and refs are whistle happy which never favors our style.
From what Ive seen so far, I think we can beat OSU but I dont think we can beat the refs. They showed really early in the game that they are not going to let the teams play.
The refs were balanced in the 1st half too. It's just that all of our fouls were on our bigs and only one was in their bigs.
We can't win with our bigs on the bench. We are still putting up a good fight. Should be a good season even if we lose this one.

You have to adjust to how the refs are calling the game in the first 5 minutes. These young players MUST learn that lesson.
This team can live and die by how the refs are calling a game. If they are allowing a little contact and banging, the game flows and it favors us more often than not. If they are calling the ticky tack stuff, it doesnt favor us at all. Some of those calls were very ticky tack.
McBride was huge for us! No doubt about that. Defense was pretty good in the 2nd half and really good the last 8 minutes of the game.

The half court and transition defense were outstanding. WVU just played with more heart. I picked a good game for my first trip to Cleveland.
Yes you did. I started to go to this one wished I had of now. If the young guys on WVU team continues to learn and grow this will be something wonderful by the end of the year.
