I just want to say that when Matthews drives in for a layup, it ends up looking more like he's trying to pass it off the backboard. He needs to work on his touch big time.

His ball security has been dreadful...three quick turnovers early. Over trying.

Terrible matchup.
WVU is finding some way to keep the game close.

Ultimately that is all you can say and more importantly want
A chance to win the game

Matthews with another power layup that just bounces off the backboard really hard. Could've given us a 1 point lead. He has no touch on his layups and hasnt all year.

98% of college basketball would lose to Baylor and Oklahoma State at home...

Stupid thinking.

8-9 teams that wouldn't.

The fact is the WVU had a chance to win both of those games.

Didn’t watch game so don’t know if McCabe played or contributed but IMO he needs more playing time

Didn't play. He is over matched against a team like Oklahoma State.

The game was there for the taking and missed easy shot after easy shot to put it away. Officials are head hunting Gabe during games. They single him out for good defensive play because Big 12 coaches whine and cry like little bitches. Without Gabe in the game this team lacks a lot of things. He doesn't score for you but he can play defense and pass the ball. Plus hustle.

Kissinger needs to be investigated and fired.

Another late-season fade. Happens almost every year. It's what Huggs was known for dating all the way back to his Cincy days. Huggs has one more chance to "fix it" but at this point, can you really expect this team to make a run deep into the the NCAA tournament? More likely to be a another dud of a tournament.

Can't never tell how the tournament will play out. I think WVU stands as good of a chance to make a deep run as anybody else. It's all about matchups at this point. One game at a time, and it only takes a six game winning streak to cut down the nets. You just have to be prepared to face the team in front of you, and not concern yourself with whoever may be the 1 seed, 2 seed, etc. More times than not, the sea parts, and you end up advancing and playing someone you weren't even paying attention to. It happened to Michigan just three short years ago. Entered the tournament as a 3 seed, and ended up playing 14 seed Montana, 6 seed Houston, 7 seed Texas A&M, 9 seed Florida State, 11 seed Loyola Chicago in the final four, and lost to Villanova in the final. Anything is possible.

Officials been hating on Huggins since 1980.. Duh!

So a team that averages shooting 26 foul shots a game all of a sudden shoots 9 against a team that averages 20 fouls a game but this time only whistled for 13 with only 3 in entire 2nd half? Damn mysterious improvement in one game. Simply amazing.

Why do you haters only show up after losses?

And that expectation explains the problem with Mountaineer fans. Okay is always good enough.
