I agree Vic made a mistake, I would say his presentation wasnt polished and points made and points perceived was not aligned( a kids perceived view), and when kids today are indoctrinated to believe that political beliefs determine an individuals reservoir for human respect, moral foundation, or genuine ideals of equality, the system & environment in which that kid was raised & taught failed them. KM even said "Vics beliefs are misguided" According to who exactly?? Ya know thats whats amazing about "MERICA" you can believe and worship however you want, and I would think Vic being a real Christian and truly caring about KM (and his soul), probably felt he was failing him if he didnt try to minister to him. Again, the presentation was off tho... Politics & religion are best absorbed in subtle doses that correlate to life's obstacles.. Vic should have waited for the right opportunity, when KM needed advice or was having trouble in some aspect of his life. Then slip in a little verse or two...

I dont think its an offense/mistake worthy of being labeled a racist, blackballed, & fired for either... I truly feel for Vic, and I will go out of my way to support him, wherever he lands..

This could have been resolved with a few player, unit, & individual meetings quickly, & leveraged to show how strong & family oriented WVU football has become. A missed opportunity to say the least... Imagine the media crew produce a few player & coaches SM segments that show a united & closer group. This is when you spend a little $ and hire a FKN PR rep...

Vic being essentially fired for the same thing WVU professors do every day, keep that in mind... There is a complete double standard when it comes to whats acceptable between a D or R, those rooted in logic and not partisan BS see it as plainly as we do these beautiful mountains..

Furthermore, I dont trust the state of mind of someone who tries to justify looting & rioting by using/saying "Well Europeans stole this land from Indians"... Someone who says that to justify rioting & looting in the year of 2020 is not in a good head-space.

Without explicit accounts on exactly what happened it's hard to think this is anything other than caving to the woke scold mob. Likely Vic's worse trespass was off color, poor taste, or insensitive words compared to typical lockeroom exchanges that only really warranted a warning and chance to correct the behavior. However to avoid the woke scold mob that wants to throw racism accusations against anything and everything, they think they'll earn a reprieve by letting him go. I could be wrong, but without some official declaration of what the administration found, not accounts from either Vic or Martin, this is the default scenario. And it tells you the situation today. If a decision will likely split people in half, rather than choose based upon principles the decision is made based upon which side you think will take it easier if they don't get their way.

Its because he knows that the players he is trying to attract don't subscribe to it. Brown had to dump Vic he became a liability. Schools would have used it against WVU in recruiting. Everyone has the right to their beliefs but there is a proper time and place for it. Hiring a Defensive coach is alot easier then getting 25 studs to sign with you on sighing day.

You are correct, it would have been used against WVU in recruiting, and KM def made a ***** move with possible ulterior motives, that was nowhere close to the optimal path for positive outcomes, honestly it was probably the absolute worst path he could have selected..

WVU missed a golden opportunity tho, if they would have hired a PR rep, and released a few SM videos showing growth, acceptance, etc, this could have been resolved quickly...

If KM made ANY false allegations that is proven in the investigation, I would hope he would also be removed from the team. Afterall his immature & cowardly action could destroy someones life..

We live in an age when a false rape or racist allegation can destroy someones life & future, false allegations should be met with the exact same force as those who are guilty.

As the biggest recruit to come out of Capital High in at least 15 years, I'm sure KM was an angel to all his classmates and never uttered a demeaning word to anyone in the bathroom, hallways, or playing.
