It's clear, for WVU to win this year, we're going to have to go back to the DH area and force the other team to keep up with our scoring. If we put up 42 points, then other side will have to score 43 to win... Score fast, score often, and force the other teams to keep up

VT is averaging 23.6 points a game. They will have a hard time scoring 43.

Thank goodness VTs QB can't hit a wide open receiver on a long ball and that VT gave up three fairly easy points by going for it on 4th down (unless their kicker just stinks), otherwise it'd be worse.

VT gets the ball to start the 2nd half. If WVU is still down 7-3 at the half than I'm afraid of it being 14-3 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, which might be ballgame for WVU. Please just take it down the field and put it in the endzone here.

And finally some b-@lls from Brown ( or is it Harrell?) and gets the first down.

If only he’d have done that at Pitt.

It is hard for me to feel positive about this game so far. I know it's better than losing, but after 3 quarters I just didn't see WVU playing great football. VT, whether they are a frankly terrible team or not, has played at a terrible level this whole game. I think an average team would have the lead on WVU with all the mistakes and missed opportunities WVU has left on the field. After 3 quarters I do not feel any better about WVU's potential for the rest of this season than I did after Towson.
