WVSPORTS.COM West Virginia looks to connect, communicate on defense

I'm probably the most positive poster on this board with locustwv close behind me. But last night's game was so frustrating. We did several good things against a much bigger and a very talented team. But the defensive lapses by individuals and the inability to defend off of screens was very frustrating to watch. Couple that with too much one on one selfish play on offense had me screaming at the TV all game. I don't like the turnovers and lazy passes but I can accept those easier than the other two things I mentioned. We just aren't talented enough to have things that can be corrected with harder execution and better team play by the players to make up for the easy baskets we give other teams and the poor shot selection certain players make with their selfish play.
We have the talent to be much better than what we are, just not the coaching. Josh is in over his head. It just is what it is....
