Its all over twitter.

May 18th, WBC plans to go to Ole Miss to protest The Blind Side. Welcome to 4 years ago. I suppose it took WBC 4 years to find something in The Blind Side to be upset about.

Leave it to these MFers to find a way to make me say "Go Rebels!" I'd pull for Iran over WBC.

Don't they know that, historically, Ole Miss has not coped well with "outside agitators"? That being said, I hope when they are 100 miles from the nearest bathroom they all come down with the worst case of diarreha known to mankind. Are their picket signs going to say God hates offensive linemen?

They don't like outsiders protesting. No, no, no. They like to have their own

protests over there. You know, like with Presidential elections, etc.

I didn't see the movie....

was it really that bad? Do they want their money back? I protested it the old fashioned way; ignored it.

Apparently they were waiting on the DVD collector's edition to come out.

They will be upset when they get there and the Klan already has their tents set up. I heard they are coming to Oxford because the Groooooove is so awesome. Maybe Shepperd Smith will give them the campus tour.

They're also protesting Elvis the day before. Rapid response right there. And Bama the day after. I personally like how the guy across the street from their church painted his house

someone needs to tell them about this "New" testament thing

I'm pretty sure they've never quoted from it. Or read it.

Funniest response I've heard is from a UM friend at work. He said the Westboro Church is way behind on this. MSU and LSU fans have been saying they're all going to hell for years.

I blame the media, kinda...I mean does every announcement that these idiots make have to go on the AP wire? Is that a rule of some sort? I realize that it's practically impossible to keep a lid on anything with online media, etc. This is where I think that the old school established media might, I said might, be able to let these stories rot on the vine but for fear of being "scooped" by online media and being behind. Plus it's an easy way for them to show crazy religious people as if they were somehow representative of Christianity. Meanwhile, there are plenty of stories of people actually attempting to follow Christ's example that go ignored. No, I'm not Ned Flanders, nor am I Pollyanna, I get why the media does what they do, I just don't like it. I guess I could self declare myself as an NFL player, but if you never ever saw me on any posted NFL roster you might get suspicious...not our media superstars! I guess I'd be OK with it if they covered it for the honest, complete mis-representation of Christianity that it is...and looking back at this post I think that I really like ellipses...maybe too much...if that's possible...

I took a moment to visit their enlightening web site and it appears they are going to Tuscaloosa to celebrate the tornado as a sign of God's wrath. An *** kicking of biblical proportions may very well take place before their day is done.

Do they have tax-exempt status, merely because they call themselves a church?

I really think their strategy these days is to just announce pickets and get the media coverage. I don't think they actually do much picketing. At least for the last 2 in Mississippi that I'm aware of they didn't. Seriously, you have to think there's a special place in hell for people like them.
