Yep. #1 for Maiden and #33 for Hibriten are both good backs.
And Newton RB had 222 yards against Foard and I'm sure they focused on stopping run to but didn't do it. We did

Hibriten and Maiden have played 10 times against each other. 8 conference games (93-96, 05-08) and 2 non-conference games (15-16). This will be the first time they have met in the playoffs.
Maiden leads the series 7-3 (6-2 conf; 1-1 non-conf). Maiden is 4-1 at Hibriten.
Since there are just 10 games, I'll list them out:

Beamer24 I'll be pulling for ya...it's a great atmosphere for a game I love standing along the field on visitor side. Ive seen y'all beat East Wilkes and Stuart cramer I would go to more games if y'all played anybody with a pulse the rest of the year but I'm not going to watch 8 beat downs lol

2 BIG decisons of games to watch if your a gamer like myself or Vik Val. I wanna see Wingate finish and see Hibriten for the first time/good game in general but man I just dont have the full confidence like I did this past friday that Watauga will be in the 5th round and definetly not driving down the road some extra miles to see em if they do win. Its an offense to watch in action for sure. Depends on what mood im in and how cold it is...all id do is take a right to see them or go straight an extra 25 min to see the other ha ha
If I remember correctly they only played two teams with winning records East Rutherford and East Wilkes
He was typical Wilson. He did handshake line and then immediately took his team off the field to locker rooms. Then they came out and he just stood in the end zone whole time staring at maiden with daggers 
Well opps on my end I wasn't thinking bout Wilkes co. RS was not gonna beat Hibriten or get it close but I do figure that they were just good enough to stop them at least a couple of times on drives and force a punt or 2
Saint wasn't a bad team and RS seemed to get better towards end of year, but they both finished .500. Maidens definitely more battle tested playing in the conference they do plus both non conference games were against good teams.
I think you got a good battle tested game last Friday to help prepare you for the Mighty Blue Devils this week.
There is a thin line between battle tested and battle fatigued. I thought we maybe hit battle fatigue when we played Newton the first time...the 1st rd bye let us catch our breath and adjust.

Boone at kickoff supposed to be 23 degrees...Lenoir kickoff supposed to be 30 degrees. I'm leaning towards hibriten simply bc i can stand close to the field.....I hate these schools that make you sit behind the tracks far from the field.

All of the remaining teams are legit. Maiden will need to be focused, and play a 48 minute game. If Hibriten held a S. Cramer team to 9 points after Cramer hung 60 points on Bandys, no one can claim that Hibriten hasn't been tested.
Cramer hanging 60 on Bandys is bc SC is really good at running and Bandys had one of the worst run defenses in the state. Hibriten is good on defense and built to stop the run, very quick.
I have watched the SC vs Hibriten film 3 times now...SC lost that game more than Hibriten won it. They should have beaten Hibriten by 2 scores.
I agree though that we need to be focused and play a full game.

Ok at the time I typed this I had not for whatever reason looked at the bracket which this morning I did, Important if you wanna see the seedings and possible home games and by me saying I wouldn't go next week to see them play IF they got past SV, for whatever reason I assumed they would not play at home and have to go somewere else LOL.
I really like Wataugas chances IF they get past SV. I think SV could beat Ashbrook and be a better team. Dont know anything bout Northern Guildford, SV prob better than them too. I mean really if you seen the beat down they layed on Freedom its evident.
To keep my post in line with the subject at hand which is this conference, I can have my cake and eat it too.( I HOPE) I can see the Hibriten/Maiden game, Watauga wins( I HOPE!!) and I can see Watauga play week after and it be at home. Still hadnt decided were to go, so if come up 321, i take a right to see Hibriten, keep going straight to see the Boone boys and to be funny I said I'd decide when I get close to the crossroads were I'd go.

I heard from 2 other friends that were at that game some similar comments. Like if it wasn't for some mistakes SC woulda took it.
