Western Foothills 4A/5A - Week 6

In the mornings I would watch Mighty Mouse (and Pearl Pureheart) and the 1960s cartoons like Deputy Dawg, Tennessee Tuxedo, Dudley Do Right, and others on WCCB back when it was Channel 18. Then in the afternoons I would watch me some He-Man.
I haven’t watched cartoons in many years, but they must be very different now, in the sense that it’s probably a less violent setting…The cats would have many types of weapons, but Mighty Mouse always used something crude, like a baseball bat or a beer bottle, but I think the one he liked best was the manhole cover. He could really make progress with that…It would show him knock out teeth, and ironically, he was the sponsor for Colgate.
Got car #3 dropped off today now just fingers crossed weather plays nice or it will be rescheduled for next weekend
Know what would be a memory, to land a date with an exquisite woman who lives in a 15 million dollar mansion down at the lake, then pull up in her semi-circle drive way on Saturday night in “Ole Number 28”, and lay down on the horn.

Newton may win the JV crown then. They must have whipped up on Bandys JV. Bandys normally takes JV pretty serious.
Not over. I would imagine they should beat the remaining teams, maybe not hickory. They seem to do a good job on JV running the ball.
Maiden JV Defense is legit. allowing 7 points per game. they may beat us but barely

No handshake at end of game looks like close to a brawl to end the game
This is a double win for me!
Blowouts tonight much expected. Looking at the NL score I guess their QB is still out and team is seeing what a huge senior loss and coach change looks like. Bunker Hill, Draughn, and NL going through talent loss pains. Cherokee (way out of area) had that good class same year Hibriten won it all and hasn’t had anything since. Hope teams around here don’t fall into that

First half it looked like Bandys may pull away with 21 to 7 in 1st Q but Conover battle to keep it closer but gave up a TD before half so it was 35-28 at half. both defense didnt do well as they gave up big play as N-C had success with runs by #7 and #0 for the Red Devil and Swett for the Trojans did well in passing game.
2nd half: No one scored in the 3rd both team swapped a turn over a piece n a few turn over on downs
4th Q: N-C drove down and they had a TD but a holding call would bring it back but that didnt let them stop as they fought n would eventually find pay dirt for a TD but with it being 34-35 in favor of bandys - a 2pt was planned, a FAKE FUMBLROUSKI and they had a man wide open in the back of the end zones for 2!!
Bandys did have a chance on their final drive bc N-C was flagged on unsportmentlike conduct on the 2 pt conv. then a offside on the kickoff. Bandy have it at their 43ish yard line, they would fight n claw but they would face 2 4th downs n would get it but after the 2nd 4th down conv. they would fumble on a bad snap or something n N-C would recover it at the LOS for the WIN!!!!!!!

Yes. some were jawing n some were trying get to each other but I respect that both staffs, ADs and other personnel would step in and get their team under control! No harm or foul just 2 passionate teams after a hard fought win/loss so
