West Caldwell vs Draughn
Chase vs East Burke

RS worries me. Hibriten needs to take care of business and ensure a good playoff seed.
ER will roll.
WC should get another win.
Chase and East Burke should be a good ballgame.

Hibriten will be ok with RS trust me. 4 score win. Dont know anything bout em but they always have athletes. Track stars not so much.

East Rutherford- needs to play bench and some JV whole game smh

West Caldwell- man, Draughn just needs to get through the season and oughta be high hopes for the huge number of underclassman on this team to learn and grow and hopefully show us something next year.

East Burke- These guys got just enough to beat a below average team and may be ok in this one. I hate how down Burke co as a whole has been this year. Good thing we got Freedom but even they might go down 2nd round. Too close of a game and barley won against Saint Stephens this past Friday lol.

If you're basing RS' performance against East Burke as your measuring stick for them against Hibriten, then you really aren't taking into consideration that they lost their starting QB and starting RB in the first quarter. That is ONLY reason RS didn't beat East Burke by 4 scores! Probably more....

the 4 scores could be 24 pts only and thats only going by Hibritens overall performace so far. They seem to be handling well and with JV running through teams, it dont look like no end in sight for a while.Hope their QB and RB are ok for RS. I hadn't really credited EB much past 2 years, so much tallent lost to graduation and injury 2 years ago. Ole Beamer remembers I'm sure lol they got to were over half the starters was on sideline with just jerseys on and had to dig into other positions and maybe even jvs to fill a position.

I didnt plan on Draughn winning but I'm happy.

We all expected Hibriten. They might not be 2017 Calibure but I do believe they're back.

ER took it easy on Patton or Patton was playing good lol

Good job for the ole' Cavs of Icard town but wasn't like they played anyone. Once they get weapons if they do get weapons around next years QB they could beat a couple more

Nobody to challenge ER so looks like those fellers got the crown as far as conference goes. However RS can play so that game wont be in the bag. No oppurtunity for revenge game either I saw they were 3A and Hibriten 4A. Dang it!! lol

Not a good look for WC thats for sure. Id wonder what would HIbritens game plan be when they face off with WC. We can joke and say play the bench and JVs like I have before but what stinks is the flavor of the rivlary could be stale. Kinda like when EB plays Freedom these days. (shoulder shrug)

Draughn is REALLY young and has a great coach so Id hope this is a building year for them. 5 maybe 6 seniors on this team. 7 or 8 freshman and several soph and some jrs. I can remember Hickory 96'.... yeah would can't remember them LOL, 2 years prior they struggled hard but they had all that youth on that varsity and it turned into something big the next year and bigger the year after that. Aint saying that will be Draughn but we could see something good.

Whats the record for most points scored in Caldwell Co? Most I ever heard of in NC and their may only be 1 that beats this is ---NW Cabarrus 0 Kannapolis 97 in 1998. Nic Maddox was the star RB in the state and big talk of the town. Practice Squad for the Panthers was as far as he got.

Hibriten could top that if they kept starters in and no running clock. Back then there was no running clock. Be bad sportsmanship for sure, lol. I wouldn't go do it. Coach Stamey of NW Cabbarrus didnt even have his team shake hands in the field after that 97- 0 game.
