Westover vs Fairmont

Just saw the final stats from this game and here is what I think. Fairmont's offense is as good as advertised and Julius Caulder and Jarique Moore are as good as they come. Those two young men are special to say the least. Seems like no matter how well Fairmont's offense performs, they will never be able to outscore good teams because their defense is terrible. Fairmont would be great if they had just an average defense and a title contender if their defense was good.

My Vikings looked completely opposite of what I thought they would be. We are in for another long season.

I told you the Wolverines would cruise in this one. A couple of missed tackles, a couple of dropped TDs, and 20 penalties kept it as close as it was. While Caulder and Moore are special; Bell and Allen takes a back seat to no one!!!

Thanks Viking. I hope Coach Pierce gets it going in the right direction. Get some of those baseball and basketball players to play football. It would help with the turnaround!!

Been begging to get six baseball kids that could help this team,but nooo.
In small 1A schools u have to play 2 sports
to be competitive . I thought we played well 2 quarter vs a young SB team that might win 3 games in their conf.

It's important that coaches share athletes, and that's even at the big schools. It just hurts a lot more at the smaller schools when the try and specialize.
