</div><div>To me....these numbers show a talent depletion, then a rebuilding phase that is still on going, and an exceptional year on the mound this year. The numbers our pitching staff has put up this year are remarkable. I'm not sure how this compares to other teams, however, I think the 2012 stats our staff has put up so far prove that pitching is better to have than big bats. Now, I'd be willing to give up some of our pitching this year for better hitting, because you have to have to be good all around to win it all. Can't just be good at pitching and below average at the plate and win the SEC and Omaha. If Stratton will come back, and our bats can improve, we'll have enough to make a run in Omaha.</div>

is that we have had a patch work rotation on Sundays all year. Stratton was a very average SEC pitcher last year. He looked good at times and looked down right awful at times. I never thought Graveman would have been more than a mid-week guy and look at what he has done for us. Butch gets a lot of credit for this, but it os obvious Stratton and Graveman have put in a lot of work to get to this point.<div>
</div><div>I cannot imagine Stratton coming back if he is a top 20 pick. Stranger **** has happened, but I just dont see it. But, if he does and we have a couple of position players that follow the "Adam Frazier" progression, we could be a very talented ball club next year.</div>
