What’s the latest on Penn State wrestlers Tyler Kasak and Greg Kerkvliet after missing last weekend?
Penn State wrestling coach Cael Sanderson offered updates on starters Tyler Kasak and Greg Kerkvliet Tuesday.
He's actually opened up a bit more this year and last year compared to previous years. But yeah, for the most part, he won't be sharing much.Cael’s willingness to update availability information makes Franklin look like a chatterbox by comparison.
Didn't wrestler his 2 ranked opponents this season. 1 was last weekend.I don't pay a ton of attention to much outside of the Big Ten. Do we know why Ferrari dropped at 197? Injured/not wrestling? Worse competition?

Good stuff. Thanks! From Earl Smith of Intermat:
A similar adjustment was made at 197 lbs. Josh Barr and Jacob Cardenas were moved up into the #2 and #3 slot, respectively. AJ Ferrari moved down to #4 despite being unbeaten. Since he didn’t compete last weekend, Ferrari missed out on a match against #7 Stephen Little. He’ll go into the postseason without having faced anyone ranked higher than #15 Nick Stemmet. Barr has three top-ten wins with Cardenas, Little, and Michael Beard. Cardenas has a top-ten win (Isaiah Salazar) and a handful of wins over 13-20 range.
