...tried to like but just can’t?
Mine would have to be sardines. I’ve tried to like them but just can’t.

I’ve it a friend who buys the canned sardines at Kroger. Eats them with crackers. Says they are great. I look at them occasionally but can’t pull the trigger on them. I don’t like cheesecake for some odd reason. It seems to be a fan favorite but not with me.
I’ve never had pigs feet, but I’m not a huge fan of liver. However, I love onions.Liver and onions

Are you a vegetarian?
Kev, I don't live in a world of labels.
As much as I love steak, bacon, sausage, ribs, etc, there’s a part of me that wonders if I could be a vegetarian if I really had to.
I love eggs and fish. I don’t consider either as meat.
I’m too old to give up what I’ve always enjoyed, but if I’m reincarnated, I may give the vegetarian thing a shot.
I won’t give up my bourbon and beer however.
Ding ding ding. A stable at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners of my youth. Yuck.Beets
I’m not sure what the difference between a vegan and a vegetarian is.Son, vegetarians are p*****. I'm straight vegan.

If the choice was being a vegetarian or dying I would gladly accept death. It’s not worth living if you can’t eat meat.As much as I love steak, bacon, sausage, ribs, etc, there’s a part of me that wonders if I could be a vegetarian if I really had to.
I agree, I was just throwing him a bone.(pun intended)If the choice was being a vegetarian or dying I would gladly accept death. It’s not worth living if you can’t eat meat.
Interesting that you bring this up, because when I was young I used to feel the same way about it. I thought it was just gross. As an adult I’ve grown to really like it.Cottage cheese
57 and have never tried sardines and don’t ever plan on to. Don’t much care for calamari, sushi, wife loves gizzards and I love livers, will fry up a batch of both for us every once in a while. I’m the only one in the family that likes beets, don’t much care for okra as I find it too mushy and slimy at times.
There is no such food for me — as a self-loving, sentient adult, if I don’t like something then I don’t force myself to try to like it....tried to like but just can’t?
