Not sure if Budweiser qualifies as cheap beer but if it does that’s my favorite economy beer.

So I work with a 20ish year old intern who is crazy over some limited release of Busch Apple beer. Apparently it’s released in such limited supply that when people find it they buy every case available. Anyone try it. Sounds like crap to me but she swears it’s excellent.

I used to love JW Dundee Honey Brown lager made by…..Gensee. I see it’s still available on the internet, but I never see it in stores. I’m sure my distributor would order it for me at a significant premium.
Wow I forgot all about that beer until your post. We enjoyed that while students and I hadn't thought about it since. I doubt I'd like it as much today as I've shifted to better beers now.

I’m going to try and get a case to try it again.

Your post only made sense when you shared “she swears it’s excellent”.

Wall Street Journal selections. One. An affordable craft Pilsner threes brewing valiet. . Two. A boozy bang for your buck New Belgian brewing voodoo Ranger juice force. Three. The smart supply-chain ale, Allagash brewing white. Four. The bulk buy, high wire brewing high pitch mosaic IPA. Five. The cooler filling logger – 10 barrel brewing pub beer.

Coors regular ... Still remember my father so excited many years ago going west of the Mississippi River since Coors would be available there. We drove with me as a young child to Colorado on vacation from PA and my father buying a few cases of Coors and stuffing them in the trunk and worrying about carrying it over state lines. My father is gone now but when I drink a Coors every now and then and remember him and toast him

Preferably 7 oz at a time from a case of 40 you're standing on to keep anyone else from pilfering one.
Those pony bottles were a big item with people going out in boats to go fishing back when I worked at a couple of liquor store in the early-mid 90s. I finally asked a lady one day why the pony bottles and she said it was because they wouldn’t get warm and they were easy to sink in the ocean.

I got a drinking in public ticket at Penn State the Friday night before the Michigan game in ‘95 for drinking a bottle of Honey Brown while walking down the sidewalk. The officer stopped me and said he was giving me a ticket for drinking in public. Indignantly, I said, “I’m not even drinking a beer!” He said, “You’re holding a six pack with 5 in there and are holding the other on, open, in your hand.” I said, “Oh my god, I had no idea!!!”
I ended up getting lost that night and couldn’t find our RV. A good time was had by all!!!
