What a difference a QB makes

Even as a proud Texan, I am as anti University of Texas as anyone can get. BUT.... 29 of 32 for 337 yards is pretty damn amazing! I seem to remember some dude named Aikman who would put of completion percentages and yards like that at one point.

There are some unreal offenses in the Big 12, but the defenses are pretty suspect. I'd like to see an SEC vs Big 12 matchup in the national title game and see who wins out.

I also think it would be good TV for Texas or Oklahoma against LSU, Alabama, or Georgia. In my opinion, offensive talent in college football is far better than defensive. While defensive linemen good, and potentially game changing, there seems to be a lack of good coverage skills. If you match a quality QB with an offensive line that can provide a few seconds he should be able to pick apart a college secondary.
