Did I miss anything besides the speculation someone got me banned? BTW, that's false.

Heading out tomorrow for LA. Angels game on Sunday followed by 3 straight Dodgers games. Greinke and Kershaw are projected to pitch Tuesday and Wednesday so our son is super jacked up, he's a huge Kershaw fan. He's been sweating it lately when Clayton was scratched a week or so ago, hopefully nothing changes.

Mike Riley and his entire staff, couldn't of asked for a better off-season. He will need to produce on the field but off the field, he's everything Nebraska - both football program and state - is all about. Such a relief with someone that respects Nebraska is in charge.

Nice to hear the Board of Regents were at practice yesterday. Strange how that worked out, kudos to the new UNL President for setting that up.

World Herald has a very good sports section this Sunday. Wow, Iowa at 37 thousand season tickets sold. I realize they have a much greater population and many great fans: they seem to be saying something.

Sounds like the AD and coaches have really put the guys in a position to take some leaps this season. Always great to hear from and about Boyd; what a great human .

Tim, stop being such an internet bully and obnoxious know-it-all.

I've been waiting months to post that.

Vacationed in SoCal the last week of July. We hiked in Joshua Tree and the Coachella Preserve. On Friday night (31st), we went to the first game of the Freeway Series, Angels - Dodgers, at Dodger Stadium. The game was sold-out. Kershaw was supposed to start, but he was scratched late. Greinke got the start and the win.

Saw something I had never seen at a baseball game. Right after the third out was made, a digital clock beyond the center field fence was set to 2:30 and started counting down. When the clock got to zero, it was batter-up. Not sure if that's an MLB thing to try to speed-up the game or if it was for t.v. purposes. Either way, it was strange to see a clock at a baseball game.

It is new this year with the "pace of play" focus this year, and is in all parks. It works when you are there in person. No pitchers waiting forever to come out for their tosses between innings anymore.
