Better than the alternative, that’s for sure. Took a nap innings 4-15, but like I always say, there ain’t nothing like a 17 ing rally.

That was a satisfying win but it was not fun...

The number of missed opportunities and the incredible lateness of the hour made it a pretty miserable experience. I did not make it to the end. Being in EDT and a 6:00 wake up looming I finally waved the white flag and went to bed at 2:30.

Bullpen damaged and 4-26 RISP on the night. Hurt, but it’s way better than losing that game.

The only good thing about that win was it solidified and held our positioning as a national seed in the #3 to #5 range pretty much no matter what happens now. But it decimated our bullpen, wore our players out, and was just difficult to watch in that we totally blew or wasted SO many scoring opportunities. Going on a 12 inning scoreless streak is never enjoyable to watch and seemingly every time we had a guy at 3rd with less than 1 out it was inevitable that the next hitter was going to strike out. The one time we didn't Mangum hit it right to the drawn in 2nd baseman. BUT it would have been much worse to have gone through all of that and lost. Couldn't have happened to a better bunch than LSU. :)

We won. That is all.

We will regroup and win at least one more tourney game and maybe the whole thing.

Sucks to be the corndogs. I would have hated to have stayed up and watched that whole thing only to lose like they did.

Any win over LSU in baseball is quite satisfying. Wish I had seen the end but given its a worknight I gave it up at 1 a.m.
