from brdawg on Gene's Premium Board. How on earth do you even arrive at that analogy?

Trust is something that is earned, boys....
_________________________________________________
like Bama 25, I'll trust him once he proves himself trustworthy. Lot's of boys put on brown shirts and trusted a guy with a funny mustache and bad hair during the last century. No, Greg isn't Hitler, so don't go there, but I stand by my point and Bama's...Greg will need to earn my trust.

are scared of what "others" are going to think about us if we hire someone that actually tries to win.

Our opponents like UT may not want to eat at the tailgate with them in The Junction if there's a chance that we might beat them. Plus, they can't use the "well, our kids are classier than __." or "Well at least Coach __ is classier than Coach __." as a convenient cop out when we lose.

What these people don't understand is this is about winning. Period. It's not about who's nicer. It's not about graduating good people. And it sure as hell ain't about who's "classier". It's about scoring more points than your opponent. If they want to be "classy" and be around nice kids, they can go cheer for Mississippi College. As for me, I want to try to kick some ***. I think Greg Byrne wants to kick some *** to.

.....trust that he's a legit MSU fan. Two, he does nothing but defend all the losers at MSU. He, Mrob, and KB21 are all cast from the same mold.

...and "leghumper" announcing his intentions to quit Gene's Page, much to the despair of KB21, reading that garbage has been high comedy today. It's really hard to believe that people can be that ignorant.

He bypasses the easy hire to replace Polk and instead hired a proven winner who will at least try to make much needed changes in our baseball program. Then he bit the bullet and fired a popular (in some circles) football coach who was totally incompetent (when in year 5 you give up more points to your biggest rival than you had yards of offense and then in the press conference admit you don't have a 17-ing clue why it's time to go) to try to rebuild the football program. Byrne may hit a home run with this hire and he may strike out. But two things are for damn sure. He won't hire a worse coach than the one he fired and I for one am thrilled to see that we're at least trying to be competitive for the first time in my lifetime.

I'm gonna kick leghumper like a rented mule. I've been waiting for him to stick his sorry *** out of a foxhole and I see he is playing the "list martyr" card. He's the type of loser MSU fan we all know. You know the type...LOVES LT, hates Byrne, LOVES Croom no matter if we went 0-12 in perpetuity.

hitler and byrne...what....seriously....how do people like this remember to live
It's a constant struggle for them to remember to "breathe in, breathe out" alternatively.
