Yeah like it or not, margins between teams are razor thin, and the refs tend to try to keep things close. Nice to see a team confidently execute down the stretch.

There has certainly been more aggression & hustle (especially help defense) these last couple of games, and I like it!

I can. You could see that one coming a mile away. We were vulnerable and arkansas probably isn’t quite as bad as their conference record. Plus they had all the motivation in the world. Also the way we were defending was just begging for it.

But guess what? We lost to them and our players kept right on playing and trying to get better. It wasn’t a season killer as some were worried it would be. It’s really just a single loss. And it wasn’t even a terrible won. It’s a game we should have won, but a quad 2 isn’t a bad loss in terms of tournament seeding. That’s all it is. And when sandwiched between multiple top 10 wins and it’s barely memorable.

One of the things that has really impressed me is the Cats' play on defense. These past two games have been remarkable with their defensive play. I would also add the play of the Freshmen, especially Trent Noah.

Just sucks because it was Cal, that’s all. That was their season and now they will go back to being a bad team.
