How's that even possible with video replay. I don't know how this could be fixed but if that happened to us we'd be raising the dead.

which does occasionally happen. Thought this comment was hilarious

Ref: Did you have six guys on the court just now?

Coach: It's OK, we pulled the goalie for the extra attacker.

Ref: Oh, ok. (starts to walk away) Hey, wait a minute...

Weird how the opposing players didn't realize it, the coach didn't realize it, and the announcers had no clue. Has a game ever been reversed due to something like that?

I can't remember who we were playing, but it was at home in the early 2000's. We had an offensive possession and fresh out of a timeout we began the patented Stans pass around the perimeter for 20 seconds motion offense. It was a pretty normal looking offensive possession except that we had four guards passing around the perimeter rather than three.

The opposing team didn't notice for a solid 20 seconds. It was pretty funny hearing a slight laughter amongst the crowd from those that noticed. The opponent finally noticed and started screaming and jumping around. I can't remember if we scored or if the ball went out of bounds but I don't believe the refs noticed and corrected until after a stoppage in play or we had scored. Maybe somebody with a better memory can fill in the details - I want to say it was against S Carolina.

Stansbury guards everybody that gets close to him. He doesn't do much on the offensive end though. And that's a shame because he can shoot it!

I remember sitting way up top for the game - which I would think meant it was a meaningful game. Of course, that was back in the day when people actually filled up the Hump, so I suppose it could have been an exhibition game??

La. Lafayette was able to get a relatively uncontested 1-1 layup in the paint. The six guys were able to keep help from getting to the ball because they would leave someone else completely open for a cut.... which is what happened.

Wizard- I would expect that comment from my wife(if I had one) but not from someone who post on a sports message board.

cause he knew about it and didn't raise holy hell. Imagine what Bobby Knight would of done if he was on the receiving end of that.
